The National Tennis Centre (NTC) in Roehampton is the LTA’s (Lawn Tennis Association) flagship high-performance venue — and one of the most unique places in London to play padel. Opened in 2007, it’s best known as the training base for elite British tennis, with world-class facilities on site.

For padel players, the big draw is that it’s pay-and-play (no membership required), with three covered padel courts offering more reliable, year-round conditions than most outdoor venues. Courts are generally available weekday evenings and at weekends, and you can book up to 7 days ahead.
