The National Tennis Centre (NTC) has long been the definitive high-performance training facility for many tennis greats since opening its doors in 2007. Now, the National Tennis Centre Padel facility has become a hub for the growing padel community in the UK.

Today, it is the administrative stronghold and preferred training facility of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), who govern padel throughout the UK. In this official role of leading Padel here in the UK, the National Tennis Centre has added three indoor padel courts to its facilities. 

These padel courts are highly sought-after by casual and aspiring padel players alike, offering state-of-the-art arenas at affordable rates on a pay-to-play basis.

NTC Padel Facilities

The excellent padel courts combined with the facility’s elite programmes allow players of all levels to fully immerse themselves into the world of racket sports!

The NTC has three covered indoor padel courts that can be booked on a pay-to-play basis or within the club’s programmed activities.

Registration is needed to book courts but it is free and once you are signed up, find the time that works best for you and book away, up to 7 days in advance. How cool is that!

While padel players may not have access to all the on-site facilities, you will still have changing facilities and showers available. 

Padel rackets and balls can be hired from the NTC main reception desk on request but a good pair of non-marking court shoes and some sports clothing is a must!

The NTC and LTA host many fantastic social events throughout the calendar year! Many LTA padel tournaments are also hosted at this facility each year. 

The National Tennis Centre Surrey offers indoor and outdoor tennis as well as floodlit tennis. There is a sophisticated gym on-site as well for those looking to train with more intensity. 

Accommodation at the NTC

Great value-for-money accommodation and other services are available on-site, perfectly suited to weekend tennis and padel tennis getaways. 

The 22 bedrooms offer single, twin, triple and accessible rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. 

Wireless internet is available throughout the facility.

National Tennis Centre Padel Booking

To book your padel session, you will need to visit their Padel Clubspark page

The pay-and-play is available to all via the “Book a Court” tab. You will need to sign up and become an LTA Advantage member to be able to make the booking. This is free and a simple process through the “register now” feature.

Courts are available Monday to Friday from 09h30am-12h00pm and 14h00pm-21h30pm. During weekends courts are available from 09h00am-20h00pm.

Bookings are subject to availability. 

National Tennis Centre Padel Prices

Padel courts at the NTC are usually charged at £15 per half hour. Rackets and balls are available for hire at £3 per racket at the main reception desk. They also offer adult lessons and junior coaching so the kids can also join in on the fun!
